The town is known for its pink granite quarries and historic villas, including the 19th-century Villa Fedora (a 5-minute walk). The villa’s gardens are now a public park which extends to the shoreline and a pretty beach. Piazza della Chiesa and the historic Church of Santi Gervasio e Protasio (a 5-minute walk) are a must for lovers of art and culture. Here, guests will find a rich collection of frescoes and paintings, including those adorning the elegant arched walkway that frames the square itself.
